David Mitchell is Principal Consultant with Energetics Py Ltd, Sydney
Australia where he is responsible for the Carbon Solutio
ns practice area, including carbon strategy, management and liability. He assists
companies on projects involving the National Greenhouse & Energy
Reporting System (NGERS) and to identify opportunities in the emerging
carbon markets. He is also active in abatement, renewables and the
voluntary markets.
Prior to joining Energetics, David worked in various roles in
Australia’s CSIRO including those of research director, strategy and
business development manager, and early stage technology
commercialisation and innovation (largely in the are of
bioinformatics).
David holds a PhD,, a Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and is
a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
